RACK (Retail Action Crime Kit Ltd) and Insight Retail Risk Consultancy are delighted to announce partnership with Blue Diamond UK Ltd.

Using the RACK Reporting app, Blue Diamond Garden Centres will be able to record incidents via the platform, and the RACK team will review and where there is sufficient evidence, the incident will be reported automatically to the relevant police force. 

This partnership aims at streamlining the reporting process, reducing the amount of time the retailer spends on the phone to 101 or completing an online submission. 

Already, we have seen a good uptake from the 49 UK locations, and intelligence sharing has already commenced. 

Head of Group Security, Nathan Wilson said “Historically it has been a time consuming task to record incidents internally and log them with the Police and then dissect the information to gain actionable intelligence and incident trends.

Using RACK will transform this into a smother process that saves time for our Garden Centre teams when reporting incidents, hopefully it will  improve the response from the relevant Police force and will give us great intelligence on incident types and statistics supporting us to identify regular and travelling offenders as well as Organised Crime groups that are targeting our centres.

The app is free for independent retailers to use as a tool for recording crime. However, we’ve expanded the platform to offer multi-site retailers extra services like sharing intelligence, police reporting, and other helpful loss prevention tools.
